All room bookings at our properties are subject to these the following terms, please take a moment to read through these. By making a reservation at our property you therefore accept our terms and conditions.
Booking can be made only by a person of 18 years of age or over.
At the time of booking we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorize the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. We shall also have the right to require deposit of 30 percent in advance at the time of booking. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the payment described in this paragraph has been provided.
Payment will be taken from the card that was provided when making the booking on the day of arrival. If guest would like us to use a different card to make the payment, please advise us at least one day before arrival
Cash payments will be avoided.
Take-away food is not allowed on the premises.
Check in is between 4pm to 7pm. On the day of departure we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 10am and on Sundays by 11am and leave the window open in their rooms.
Cancellation Policy and No Shows:
Changes and cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival/time will be charged in full.
If your booking is cancelled due to a national lockdown only (within 7 days cancellation policy), we can postpone your stay with us for a later date in the year, we can send you a voucher for the amount of the deposit paid which can be used for a future booking. Please note that rates may vary according to the time of the year. Alternatively, we can refund your deposit in full.
No shows will be charged in full.
The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel anytime.
The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price of the reservation anytime.
While we regret any circumstances that lead to cancellations it is not the responsibility of the Afon View Guest House to cover these costs, we recommend you take out a travel insurance accordingly.
By receiving your email details we are automatically entitled to send you an email update regarding any discount and promotion. You will be able to unsubscribe from the correspondence at any time by pressing unsubscribe button . Correspondence will be made only once the most twice a year
We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the property during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.
If you have booked a stay with us and are experiencing COVID symptoms before you travel please stay at home and arrange an NHS swab test.
If you arrive at our property and are diagnosed with Covid during stay you will be ask to return home immediately..There will be no refund for guests who have to cancel or curtail their holiday due to catching Covid-19 so we STRONGLY advice you to take out insurance and there are numbers of companies who are currently offering this cover.
We want you to enjoy your break with us and have put in COVID measure to enable you to do so.
If you are contacted whilst on holiday with us via the NHS Track & Trace service advising you that you have been in contact with a person diagnosed with Covid you must alert us to this fact in order for us to put measure in place and then you must return home immediately .
If you are diagnosed with COVID within 14 days of returning home from your stay with us please advise us of this in order for us to close our rooms for 72 hours and also so that we can be vigilant for symptoms.
